Las Terrenas, DR.- The Blu Terrenas company proposed a project that seeks to preserve the environment and offer a different tourist alternative to continue tourism and business development in the city of Las Terrenas, in the Samaná province.

According to Ferruccio Fazzari, a tourism entrepreneur, he told CDN that his company chose the city of Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic for its first sustainable tourism development in the entire Caribbean. Because it is one of the most beautiful places in the country, because of its unique nature, its beautiful beaches and its beautiful people to create a project that contributes to development.

He said that the concept is to develop a sustainable project that preserves the environment but also favors the social and economic growth of the inhabitants of Las Terrenas.

While Mayor Eduardo Esteban Polanco, alias Willy, from the Las Terrenas municipality, said that they will approve everything he sees in development and benefits for his people.

“Blu Terrenas” will have a total extension of three million square meters from the beach to the hills, and will connect Avenida 27 de Febrero with Boulevard del Atlántico with public streets donated to the community.

It will also have an 85,000 m2 shopping center open to the public with international and local stores, restaurants and an amphitheater over the water with a capacity for 2,500 people.
